I am making music for the film playing in my mind that looks and sounds something like an old western-James Bond-Tarantino-surf film staring Don Draper in a poncho.

My sound is shaped by Bruce Brown, Rodney Mullen, Ram Dass, Buddy Holly, J Dilla, typewriters and Tom Hanks.

I studied audio engineering at The Conservatory of Recording Arts & Sciences in Phoenix, Arizona before going on to work in an all-analog recording studio in Nashville, Tennessee where I learned many classic studio methods and practices working with tape and vintage equipment. I love analog recording methods and techniques and try to find ways to weave analog into my productions.

My favorite sounds are orphaned drums recorded with cheap mics, bass guitars with flat-wound strings and foam on the bridge, Farfisa organs, Mellotrons and Harmony Rocket guitars with spring reverb.
